About Us  ::  SERVICE PHILOSOPHY

Our philosophy is that an EAP service is most effective when it embraces the following components:

Confidentiality
Maintaining client confidentiality is the single greatest factor in assuring the success of an Employee Assistance Program. When employees are assured of confidentiality, they are motivated to make use of the program on a self-referral basis prior to job performance issues.

The Federal confidentiality regulations and data privacy acts establish practical guidelines that protect confidentiality. These guidelines are strictly upheld. No information is shared unless the individual has given prior written authorization. (Federal and State Law exceptions apply.)

Eligibility
Each organization determines which employees are eligible. In most instances, all full-time, part-time and benefits-eligible employees are included, as well as family members.

Voluntary
Participation in the EAP is voluntary. Organizations may choose to have mandatory referrals as well. The EAP is not a substitute for the normal disciplinary procedures of the employer.

Accessibility
Telephone response is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Office locations and appointment times are responsive to the needs of employees and employers. Crisis situations are responded to within 24 hours. All other appointments are scheduled within 72 hours or as needed.

Accountability
Quarterly and annual reporting of utilization data is provided with no identifiable information regarding employees. Follow-up is conducted with the employee and the referral resource. Client satisfaction surveys are given to all clients.

Our focus is to provide the opportunity for a healthy work-place and a healthy personal experience.
